BIOGRAPHIES

Heather Hooten

Heather grew up singing three-part harmony with her two sisters, so it’s no surprise that she is a founding member of the HoneyBs! She began performing at the age of 2 and never stopped. She holds a degree in Theatre from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and began her professional life as an Army Officer with the privilege of performing on Army Entertainment stages throughout Germany during her seven years on active duty. Her final assignment was as the Officer in Charge of the Army’s inaugural touring theatre company, “Theatre Bravo!” which toured throughout Europe and the United States. Upon leaving military service she acted professionally for over a decade in New York City and has since settled in San Antonio with her husband finding a home in the local theatre scene performing at The Wonder Theatre, The San Pedro Playhouse, The Magik Theatre, The Harlequin, and The Overtime as well as in church and for events throughout the city. She has two albums of original music under her former stage name, Heather Powell. “Believe it To Life” and “A Haze of Grays and Blue” can be found on Spotify.

Brooke Arnold

Brooke became a member of the HoneyBs just two months after the group was founded making her a true “OG HoneyB”! She can be seen on theatre stages throughout San Antonio or at her day job as the Box Office Manager at The University of the Incarnate Word.

Dani Andrade

Dani is the newest main member of the HoneyBs having just celebrated her one year anniversary with the group. She is a true triple threat (singer, dancer, actor) and performs throughout San Antonio. She is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University.

Meet the HIVE

The HoneyBs is blessed with a hive of performers that sub in for events as needed. Take a look at these incredible former and current members of THE HIVE. Huge shout out to founding members, Beth Lamy (who has since moved to Connecticut and started her own group “The Connecticut Belles”) and Beth Erwin. We would not be able to do what we do without the support of our singer community!

Every hive needs worker bees and the HoneyBs lucked out with this one! Leon Hooten has been the manager, gig finder, PR guru, sound technician, roadie, and what the HoneyBs affectionately call their “Worker Drone Bee” from day one. Behind the scenes work is never glamorous, but is always vital! You can find out more about Leon by checking out the Poison Darts tab on this website.
